Why I Chose Pleasanton Real Estate

We Probably Grow Most in Our Lives When Life is Kicking Us Around!

That’s what happened to me and as a result, I am here today to offer exceptional Real Estate Service to my clients! I am now approaching 9-years as a Pleasanton CA Realtor!

In early 2000 I began the process of a life-changing event; a divorce. Emotions were high, stress was high and life was about to change drastically. I was so overwhelmed, I literally couldn’t make a decision about much of anything… would I sell my house, refinance…I didn’t know.  I spoke with a Realtor who referred me to a lender who was not very helpful. I was already devastated by my situation and I needed someone to guide me. A CPA referred me to a different lender who did just that. He came to my home, talked to me about my options and with that one conversation I realized I could refinance, keep my kids in their home and begin my new life. He literally walked me through all the paperwork realizing how overwhelmed I felt. I was so moved by his assistance, I began a career in lending and Real Estate within the following 6-months. I didn’t care for the lending part of the business, but found I loved helping people buy and sell real estate!

How I Have Grown Since Then

Almost 9-years in the business, I now specialize in Short Sales. My personal experience taught me how sensitive and thoughtful I need to be about what others are going through. In order to provide the quality of service my clients deserve, I continue to educate myself about this ever-changing business. Short Sale Selling is by far a more difficult endeavor than most realize. I hear that only a small percentage of short sale listings ever get closed, but I am here to tell you nearly all of the properties I have taken on have closed.

Early on in the business I spent quite a bit of time working with buyers; 1st time buyers, seasoned buyers and move-down buyers. I earned the ABR DesignationAccredited Buyers Representative. It was one of the best courses I’ve taken in this business. I have a fiduciary responsibility to my clients and because of that course, I understand exactly what that means. I am proud to carry the ABR Designation as a Pleasanton CA Realtor!
